People would pay a fortune for a birthday message from Beyonce, and this weekend Gwyneth Paltrow was a lucky recipient of a special shout out from her best pal live on stage.
The ‘Single Ladies’ singer was performing at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on Saturday night (October 6), where she belted out her hits including ‘Diva’ and ‘Crazy In Love’, but she couldn’t resist paying tribute to birthday girl Gwyneth.
The Oscar-winning actress turned 40 recently, and Beyonce reportedly told the crowd that she wanted to wish happy birthday “to a special friend of mine”, before adding: “Gwyn, I love you.”
Gwyneth has been making the most of her birthday, with three birthday bashes – and Beyonce attended the third in New York on Friday night (October 5) at Elio’s Italian restaurant, along with the actress’s mother Blythe Danner and her husband Chris Martin.
