It's fair to say that X Factor judge Gary Barlow was more than a little annoyed when it was announced that his act, Carolynne Poole had been eliminated from the show last night, and now Carolynne has revealed to us just how angry he was, by confessing that he was "furious".
Speaking to Entertainmentwise's Georgie Barrat the morning after Louis Walsh's decision to go into deadlock saw her losing her place in the competition to Rylan Clark, the hopeful admitted:
"He (Gary) was furious. He text me this morning, saying 'I hope you're alright and chat to you later."
Giving an explanation of the emotions that were seen on the show last night, Carolynne continued:
"Everyone thinks this stuff is preempted but honestly it's not and Gary especially is really hands on with his acts. As soon as we'd been through judges' houses, he was on the phone and giving out his email address.
"I've spoken to him nearly everyday since I got through, be it about my song choice, where I see myself, who I want to work with. So he's really involved. These situations are so heightened, so intense that you see everyone get upset and so angry and reacting like this is because you've had a month of working so closely towards something that it's really hard."
What do you think of Carolynne's performance over the weekend?
