The health woes of country star LeAnn Rimes are mounting after a “massive infection” forced her to pull the plug on one of her gigs.
Her concert KO comes just weeks after she left a rehab clinic where she enrolled to battle anxiety and stress.
The troubled American was due to perform in Wendover, Nevada, on Friday, but cancelled at the last minute after falling ill.
It is believed her infection could be related to the emergency root canal treatment she underwent in July.
LeAnn addressed her fans via Twitter following the news of the axed concert. She tweeted: “I feel like I got hit in my right side of my face with a baseball bat. Not a good feeling when I am getting on a plane.
“For all my fans at Wendover last night, the show will be rescheduled, not cancelled.
“Worst way ever to kick off a tour…under anaesthesia and a massive infection.
“Well, onward and upward. It can only get better from here!!!”
We hope you get better soon LeAnn!
