It's no secret that half the reason we tune in to the X Factor each week is to see the judges' crazy outfits... Louis' hair becomes more bizarre as the weeks go by, while Gary just looks better and better...
The X Factor live shows are traditionally the point in the series where the acts are treated to a makeover (or makeunder in Rylan Clark's case).Glittery cat suits, day-glo dancers and flowery tattoos lit up the stage last night, but the judges couldn't resist a revamp either.
Tulisa’s blonde hair was dark once again (thank goodness!), while Louis' silver mane appears to be miraculously growing at the speed of light after his rumoured £30,000 hair transplant a la Wayne Rooney. He's still driving us mad, hair or no hair...
Nicole Scherzinger stole the show in a sheer black 'dress', (or had she covered herself in masking tape? We couldn't quite tell), unafraid to attract attention with her bountiful assets after rumours emerged of her cheating on partner Lewis Hamilton last week.

Gary, dressed in his trademark natty suit and skinny tie combo, had, controversially, swapped chairs. Meanwhile we really weren't sure about Tulisa's garms... she took a stab at understated chic in a purple satin gown with a balloon hem, but it didn't really work. She opted for one very slick hair-do... she's bringing back the 'Croydon facelift' and we don't like it one bit!
There was bitching, high fiving, and a bit of hip-thrusting from host Dermot O’Leary, who kicked off the show with his own version of the Gangnam Style dance - he looked gorgeous in a dapper suit, as always!
Heroes was the theme, in tribute to the London 2012 Olympians and Paralympians. Rylan Clark certainly went for gold in the sparkliest ensemble we've ever seen, paired with green eyeliner and a chainmetal gold vest. Of all the acts, we thought Ella Henderson looked the best, in a cream dress with heavy baroque embellishments - bang on trend and very pretty!
Who do YOU think looked best?
