A pair of swimming trunks worn by Daniel Craig in the James Bond film Casino Royale, have sold for £44,450 at an auction which marked 50 years of the spy films.
The swimwear and a Bond car were among a number of 007 items sold by Christie’s on Friday, marking half a century from the first Bond film, Dr No, in 1962.
An Aston Martin DBS driven by Daniel Craig in Quantum of Solace went for £241,250.
All sale proceeds from the event went to charities, including Unicef and Childline.
A navy woollen suit that was worn by Craig in new film Skyfall was a popular piece at the auction. It was expected to raise between £2,000 and £3,000 but went for a staggering £46,850.
Daniel reprises his role as 007 in the spy's new film 'Skyfall'. The movie directed by Oscar winner Sam Mendes hits cinemas later this month.
