Zac Efron has admitted that his love life is non-existent, as he finds dating so tough.
Talking on The Ellen DeGeneres show yesterday, the 24-year-old revealed that he was still single, despite having been linked to ‘Mirror Mirror’ actress Lily Collins earlier this year.
“Dating is kind of hard,” he said. "A forced awkward situation is very strange. Especially for me, for some reason. I like to go and do something adventurous. I like to go out and do some sort of crazy activity."
The actor, who was caught dropping a condom on the red orange carpet for 'The Lorax', admitted that it’s different finding a girlfriend in the public eye.
"You always have to be careful, I guess, about that kind of thing," he said. "Every day is a new experience and I take it as it comes. Some people I worry about, some I really don't have to."
Zac also dated his ‘High School Musical’ co-star Vanessa Hudgens from 2007 to 2010 so is not stranger to relationships, but even that left him unprepared for his encounter with actress Nicole Kidman in their new movie ‘The Paperboy’.
"It was a sort of a intense dramatic moment for me. I was very prepared to give my all in a dramatic moment, and before I knew it, music started to turn up around me and she kind of looked at me and said, 'You want to dance?' And they're still rolling, so I couldn't really say, 'Cut!' And before I knew it, we were improvising an entire dance in the rain," Efron said.
"It's one of my favourite scenes in the movie."
