Salma Hayek Slams Fashion Industry For Producing 'Little Boy' Clothes

Not a fan of the androgynous look

Curvaceous star Salma Hayek has slammed the fashion industry, revealing that she thinks there is too much pressure to ''fight our genetics'' for ''little boy'' fashion.

We're guessing Salma isn't a huge fan of the androgynous look, and its no wonder why with her enviable hourglass figure.

The 46-year-old Hollywood actress, who is happily married to billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault, is renowned for her voluptuous Latino curves and managed to fill out every dress she wears in the sexiest manner.

But the star has recently dissed the fashion world as promoting an unhealthy body ideal as well as conforming to what she reckons children should be dressed in.

"In recent years, we have had to fight against our genetic nature to look like little boys, to be socially accepted as beautiful," she explained.

"It used to be that a young girl couldn't wait to grow up and take the shape of a woman. Now our goal is regression, to look younger and like a child. There has not been enough diversity of boy shape in fashion." Here, here!

Salma Hayek stuns at Paris Fashion Week with her youthful looks - Wenn

Salma stands up for naturally curvaceous women who can sometimes feel they aren't ''fashionable'' for being a real woman, and with that, the actress also makes it clear that she doesn't deny her hot bod anything when it comes to grub.

She believes that her varied diet is the key to her youthful looks, and we totally agree – we even reported earlier this week how she made Kate Moss look old at Paris Fashion Week when she sat next to the 38-year-old supermodel on the FROW.

"I am on the limit of chubbiness because I love my food and my wine," she told Harper's Bazaar.

"It's not the best for fashion, but it's good for my mood. I am happy because I eat. I am 46; I will not have Botox. You know why [I don't need to do it]? Because I eat! I eat the fat, I eat the vegetables, I eat everything."

''If you exercise too much and you don't eat enough, it takes its toll on the skin. Everything starts ageing. If you don't eat carbs, you slow your metabolism down,'' she wisely continued.

We couldn't think of a better role model!
