Sofia Vergara has been accused of staging the wardrobe malfunction that left the back of her dress split, exposing her famous booty.
An "insider" told the National Enquirer that the whole thing was a publicity stunt designed to upstage Modern Family co-star Julie Bowen after she beat her to an award.
"Sofia’s an absolute genius at publicity," they said.

Hmmm. Despite the accusation, a source close to the star has told Gossip Cop that the Enquirer report is "100% fabricated", adding that Vergara doesn't need to split her own dress to drum up some media attention.

Modern Family returned to US screens last week and was met with its usual sky-high ratings.
