His designs are favoured by a host of celebrities including Emma Watson, Kate Moss and Jennifer Lopez, who wore one of his dresses to an Obama bash this week, but fashion designer Hakaan has just experienced a huge travesty in terms of his career.
The London-based label received news that the entire SS13 collection, which was to be showcased on the penultimate day of Paris Fashion Week, has been completely lost.
The Turkish designer, full name Hakaan Yildrim, was all set to present his Spring/Summer 2013 line to a celeb FROW and the press yesterday afternoon.
But the fashion designer quickly realised that he was experiencing his worst nightmare when it came to light that the courier company, that was transporting the collection, has lost every single piece of clothing for the show.
Haakan's PR, Karla Otto, was reportedly forced to send out emails yesterday to all of those invited, embarrassingly telling them that the preview was cancelled shortly after the devastating news was unveiled, reports the MailOnline.

''The whole collection is lost,'' Karen Nitsche, from Karla Otto, reportedly said. "It was when they were being transported. We don't know how.'"
But this isn't the first time a fashion line has been lost or stolen, with the courier company being the ones to blame. Marc Jacobs had to cancel his highly-anticipated European press day after his entire SS12 collection was stolen from a train bound for London from Paris.
An array of stars are big fans of the designer, with Jennifer Lopez choosing a stunning Jessica Rabbit style red cocktail dress for her appearance at Barack Obama's Democratic Fundraiser earlier this week and Emma Watson opting for a sexy yet elegant dove grey cut-out mini dress for the Elle Awards in 2011.
And it's not all looking bleak for Hakaan, however, as the designer is re-creating the show pieces for an exclusive screening later this week, which will be attended by selected members of the press and fashion elite. Good luck, Hakaan!
