He may have suffered a heart scare, but Dragons' Den star Duncan Bannatyne has shown that he still has a sense of humour after tweeting: "All tests proved I am human so I have been released."
It was reported earlier this week that the businessman was rushed to hospital following fears that he was suffering from a heart attack. Fortunately, the Dragons' Den star suffered a heart scare and was discharged yesterday.
Tweeting that he was on his way home, Duncan who runs a successful health club, hotel and spa business, wrote: "On way home to rest. Thanks for the get well wishes.”

Happy that he had been released from hospital and was on the mend, a spokesperson for The Bannatyne Group is quoted by the Daily Record as saying:
"Everyone at the company is relieved that tests have confirmed Duncan's health scare was not a heart attack and he will be discharged from hospital later today. He is now to spend a few days recuperating from his chest pains.
“He has asked us to thank the hundreds of people who have contacted him to express their good wishes and support and to thank the staff at Darlington Memorial Hospital for the kindness and care.”
Despite being ordered to rest, Bannatyne took to his Twitter to show his gratitude for the staff at the hospital he was taken to. He wrote:
"Can I just pay tribute to the paramedics who took me to hospital, the fantastic nurses & Doctors at Darlington Memorial Hospital & the cook"
We're glad to hear Duncan is getting better!
