Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are rumoured to have gotten back together following their summer of romance drama after Kristen's affair with married 'Snow White' director Rupert Sanders, and new reports suggest that the real reason why he took her back is because 'she's the only one that understands him'.
The showbiz pair were catapulted into a fame that only their co-stars can really understand, as they both starred in the 'Twilight' movies from quite an early age. And it's because of the 'Twilight Saga' franchise that the lovebirds have such a deep connection, apparently.
A source told Us Weekly: "He started thinking nobody else would understand his life. His rational voice told him not to toss a three-year relationship for one infidelity."
"Rob weighed his options. He wouldn't even know where to start if he wand Kristen were to break up for good. They have a very deep connection. Plus, they're young. All relationships at that age have drama."
However, R-Pattz and K-Stew may be giving their romance another try but it seems friends of the 'Twilight' hunk aren't happy about it and are desperately trying to get the 26 year- old away from the actress.
The couple were rocked in July when it was revealed Kristen had cheated on Rob with married director Rupert Sanders. After months of soul searching from the 'Twilight' hunk the couple have reportedly reconciled, with Rob deciding to give the brunette a second chance after realising he couldn't live without her.
However, while the 22-year-old is reportedly over the moon at the news, Rob's friends aren't and are urging the hunk to try to get on with life, without Kristen.
"[His friends] don't want to see him hurt again. But it's easier said than done,” a source told People magazine. "[His friends] keep telling him he needs some time and space, but they all think they will be a couple again, maybe as soon as they are together for the [The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2] promos [in November]."
But, to Rob's pals dismay, Kristen has confirmed that the pair are 'both fine' herself at the Toronto International Film Festival.
The actress told the Associated Press during an interview that the ‘Twilight’ lovers were not worried about promoting the final instalment of the vampire saga when it is released in November.
“We’re going to be fine. We’re totally fine,” she replied when asked about some potentially “awkward public appearances”.
What do we think? Has Rob done the right thing in 'forgiving and forgetting'?
