Adam Barker, the son of late comedy legend Ronnie Barker, has pleaded guilty to 20 counts of making indecent images of children.
He was charged in July after spending eight years on the run.
Detectives had attended the funerals of Ronnie and mother Joy, which both occured when he was on the run, in the hope of catching him.

The Daily Telegraph reports that the court was told that the images were stills and not videos. He was caught when police traced payments that were made to him for copies of the pictures.
The guilty plea at Isleworth Crown Court related to a staggering total of 1,675 images.
Adam will be sentenced on October 19. Judge Edmunds told the defendant that he had "pleaded guilty to matters which normally carry custodial sentences".
