It seems Miley Cyrus has got the acting bug after her next month’s appearance on Two And A Half Men, and is now reportedly in talks to play the lead role in the upcoming television remake of the 1967 movie Bonnie and Clyde.

The singer is set to play Bonnie, who was famously played by Faye Dunaway opposite Warren Beatty back in the 60’s.

The lives of outlaws Bonnie Elizabeth Parker and Clyde Chestnut Barrow are set to be depicted in a four-hour miniseries for America’s A+E’s History and Lifetime channels.

The 'Can't Be Tamed' singer, 19, is set to appear on the hit CBS show Two And A Half Men alongside Ashton Kutcher which is set to air October 17.

Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, who have worked together on projects including Smash, are the show's executive producers.

Ooooh a musical version of Bonnie and Clyde…maybe? We can dream.
