Pop princess Britney Spears has been accused of a variety of things in her time but ex-self-proclaimed manager Sam Lufti has really taken the biscuit with this one! According to alleged documents obtained by TMZ, he has accused Brit of stashing the highly dangerous drug crystal methane in her house.
Lufti, who is involved in a legal battle with the Spears family, has insisted the ‘Toxic’ singer be declared mentally competent to take the stand, so she can comment on an alleged 2007 incident involving the drug.
He claims in the documents that sniffer dogs were brought into the Spears home and found a ‘cache of crystal meth in her home.'
He also says that it was allegedley found in an area of the house that the singer’s two sons Sean Preston, then 3, and Jayden James, then 1, were allowed to play.
"Britney should further testify that drug dogs found hot spots of drug residue in the carpeting, where her young sons played during visits," he claimed.
According to her accuser, he later shampooed and removed said carpet, replacing it with new flooring.
Lufti is suing the mum-of-two’s parents, Jamie and Lynne Spears, for defamation of character, claiming they have made false statements regarding his relationship with their daughter.
They apparently made defamatory comments claiming he drugged Britney and cut her phone wires, stopping her from contacting her parents.
He has now insisted that due to the star’s new $15m role as judge on The X Factor USA, she must be mentally competent to testify regarding these claims as well as an alleged contract guaranteeing him a portion of her fortune.
However Spears’ lawyers have insisted she is not mentally competent to testify and even had to receive permission from the courts to appear on the reality show alongside Simon Cowell, L.A Reid and Demi Lovato.
