Noel Gallagher Enjoys Brother Liam Slagging Him Off

The singer buys the NME when Liam's on the front

Noel Gallagher and brother Liam have never seen eye to eye but the singer has said that he buys NME magazine when Liam is on the front so that he can read him "slagging him off".

Speaking to the NME on its 60th anniversary, he said: "I buy NME when Liam's on the front - 'cos I know he'll be slagging me off.

"There was one point when Beady Eye was out, but I wasn't doing anything, and Liam was on the cover of NME every few weeks, basically saying, 'Noel's a c**t'."

He continued: "I'd go into the newspaper shop and my two Asian mates, they'd be reading it under the counter... 'You come for this?' I'd see them wincing, 'It's not a good one…' 'I know.' 'I don't think he likes you very much.' 'Yeah, I don't think he likes anyone very much.''

Noel Gallagher is not a fan of Liam (Wenn)

The singer recently admitted that he doesn't have an issue with his brother Liam performing Oasis tracks as he gets paid.

Liam's Beady Eye have recently began performing classic Oasis hits as part of their current set after initially refusing to play them when the band first launched.

Noel has insisted that he is happy for Liam to perform the fan favourites as it means he receives royalties every time they are played at shows.

"Beady Eye have my permission to play my songs and they should do whatever they like," Noel Gallagher is quoted by The Sun as saying.

"I say he should go around the world, do those songs and fill out the PRS (performing rights) forms." No hard feelings then Noel?
