The mastermind behind Sons of Anarchy knew Johnny Kendrick Lewis had lost his way.
The 28-year-old actor, who appeared on his show, was found dead on the driveway of a home in the Los Feliz neighborhood in Los Angeles after he killed his 81-year-old landlady on Thursday, while Sutter claims he was on already on a “destructive path.”
“Not sure if folks know this yet, but Johnny Lewis (halfsack) died last night,” Lewis, who portrays “Big Otto” on Sons of Anarchy wrote on his WhoSay page. “It was a tragic end for an extremely talented guy, who unfortunately had lost his way.”
The show creator goes on to express his passing was not much of a shock, and explains further why.
“I am deeply sorry that an innocent life had to be thrown into his destructive path,” Sutter penned. “Yes, it's day for mourning, but it's also a day of awareness and gratitude. Sadly, some of us carry the message by dying."
Prior to carrying out the murder and get killed, Lewis had been convicted of several violent crimes and dated Katy Perry back in 2006.
