Whilst some newly famous TV stars let fame go straight to their head, it appears the same can't be said for TLC Network star Alana 'Honey Boo Boo' Thompson.
Speaking in an interview with In Touch magazine, Honey Boo Boo's mum, June revealed that despite her daughter's rise to fame, her family will not be giving Mariah Carey a run for her money in the Diva stakes.
She told the publication: "We’ll never be Hollywood", adding that their fame “hasn’t changed us.”
Despite reports suggesting that the family are in for a hefty payrise for a new season of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, family friend Tommy Floyd revealed that the family enjoy living the simple life.

He revealed: "The stuff they do on TV — that’s the way they are every day. They’re just ordinary people. You’ll see ’em at the Dollar General.
"They would help out anybody that might need extra supplies. What they do on TV isn’t a put-on.”
Keeping Up With The Kardashians' matriarch Kris Jenner recently had to hit bck at claims that she slammed Honeyy Boo Boo and her mum, telling E! News:
"I would never criticise her, because I don't even really know who Honey Boo Boo is.
"I've never seen the show."
