Is there any stopping One Direction? It seems not as the band have smashed the record for the most number of video views in 24 hours on VEVO, beating Justin Bieber.
The 'Boyfriend' singer previously held the record but the One Direction lads have beat it with 8.24m views of their new video, 'Live While We’re Young', in the first 24 hours.
Steve Barnett, chairman of One Direction’s American record label, Columbia, said: “VEVO had more impact than anything else [for One Direction]. I’ve never seen anything work as quickly.”
It seems One Direction may have not been crowned winner's on the X Factor but the lads have come a long way from then as it has been reported that the group have earned an estimated £100 million between them over the past two years. Not bad going!
Since the X Factor series in 2010, One Direction have become one of the most financially successful UK groups of all time... and that's after releasing just one album.
The claims were made in the new edition of Tom Bower's biography of Simon Cowell, called Sweet Revenge: The Intimate Life Of Simon Cowell.
And the money is set to continue to roll in as One Direction prepare for the release of their second album Take Me Home which will be followed by a 100-date world tour next year.
A 3D movie featuring the group is also due to be released next year, and according to reports they have signed an advertising deal for Pepsi worth £11 million.
Well we certainly know why the ladies love them and why they're jealous of the One Direction lads' girlfriends.
