An adult website has offered $5 million for the exclusive ownership of Kanye West's alleged sex tapes.
Sex.com have released a statement addressing the anonymous source who reportedly has two sex tapes featuring Kim Kardashian's man.
The website had already offered $1 million last Friday (September 21) but today upped their offer after reports of a second sex tape emerged.
TMZ alleged today that the second footage totals 40 minutes and features another unidentified female.
After learning about the possible existence of another tape, Sex.com say they are "now prepared to offer 5 million dollars to the anonymous source" before releasing the footage on DVD:
"Upon purchase, Sex.com will exclusively host both videos for free in the Celebrity section and then begin packaging the sex-tapes together for a DVD release."
The website has high expectations for the footage, saying in their statement:
"Sex.com sees Mr. West as much more than a rapper. He is a cultural icon, responsible for setting trends in music and fashion. Sex.com feels that these sex-tapes are not only an exclusive look into the star's intimate life but could also contain the same Midas touch Mr. West brings to all his projects"
The offer comes as Kanye's lawyers claim that at least one of the alleged sex tapes was illegally taken from his computer. According to All Hip Hop, Kanye’s lawyer has said that the ‘sex tape’ violates the rapper’s “rights of privacy and publicity”.
According to reports, a cease and desist notice regarding the original footage was issued on Sunday (September 23). It’s claimed that Kanye’s legal team said that "the screen shot, as well as the tape from which the screen shot was taken, were illegally obtained and [are] believed to have been stolen from Mr. West's computer".
They also added: "We hereby demand that you... immediately cease and desist from posting, advertising, marketing, displaying and disseminating the illegally obtained screen shot of Mr West."
