In an unlikely turn of events, 'American Psycho' author Brett Easton Ellis has taken to Twitter to defend Paris Hilton's recent homophobic rant.
Paris Hilton came under fire for slamming the gay community recently, after an audio recording of the socialite worked its way into the tabloids:
"Gay guys are the horniest people in the world. They're disgusting. Dude, most of them probably have AIDS...I would be so scared if I was a gay guy. You'll like, die of AIDS."
Not cool Paris. Not cool at all.
However Brett Easton Ellis, in an unprecedented move, has leapt to defend Paris via his Twitter account, explaining that her perception of homosexual men isn't too "far off" the mark:
"I kind of agree with Paris Hilton."
"As someone who has used Grindr? Paris Hilton isn't that far off."
We don't know what to make of this - is the author suggesting that gay men are "kind of" disgusting and "kind of" probably will die of AIDS? Yiesh.
All we can safely assume is that Paris is, at least, probably grateful for SOMEONE from the gay community offering their support during this time.
