You may not immediately think of Adele and Jessie J as pals - after all, they couldn't be more different - but it seems as if the famous singers were lunchtime BFFs back before they made it big in the music stakes!
Jessie J's new autobiography is set to reveal all about her life before she was famous - charting her rise to success, her health problems and schoolyard bullies who made her miserable - but it has also revealed that she and Adele used to be friends long before they were stars!
In an excerpt printed in the Daily Mail, Jessie J explains what it was like to watch Adele's career take off before her own:
"I didn’t feel my singing had been encouraged at the local secondary school, but when I auditioned for The BRIT School for performing arts in Croydon, I fell in love with the freedom of it all... I was ready to work hard and learn more about what I loved."
"I had all sorts of friends. I knew Adele; we were in the same year. We used to hang out at lunchtimes and have a little jam. We’d sing songs we’d written or perform whatever we were working on.
"When Adele started to take off – BRIT old girl Amy Winehouse was already huge by then – it was amazing to have the opportunity to watch and learn."
No hard feelings THERE then! We'd love the pair to get together and do a duet now - it'd be the most amazing power ballad ever written.
