Slowly but surely, Jessica Simpson is getting her old body back.
The Weight Watchers spokeswoman, 31, has slipped back in her Daisy Dukes she famously wore for her role in The Dukes of Hazzard, as she is showing evidence her baby weight loss has been effective.
Eric Johnson’s fiancée was seen wearing denim cutoffs and open-toed platform heels for her Sept. 20 outing at Shutters in Santa Monica, Calif.
Simpson hasn’t shied away from her struggles to lose the baby weight since welcoming Baby Maxwell Drew Johnson in May.
"I'm not a supermodel. My body is not bouncing back like a supermodel. I'm just your everyday woman who is trying to feel good and be healthy for her daughter, her fiancé and herself," she told USA Today earlier this month. "I feel like everybody can do what I am doing."
The fashion mogul confessed it was hard for her to face reality, following the birth of Maxwell.
“The very first time I got on the scale in my Weight Watchers meeting, my heart was pounding because I had no idea how much I weighed,” Simpson said. “I was always the girl who stood on the scale backwards because I didn’t want to face it.”
The new first-time mother has been working out with trainer to the star Harley Pasternak four to five times a week, and is only ten pounds away from her pre-baby weight.
