The world was stunned when an audio recording of Paris Hilton slamming the gay community, due to the fact that “most of them probably have AIDS”, went viral on the world wide web.
But now sources close to Paris have revealed that her sound bite was taken entirely out of context; apparently this is only a tiny fragment of a hugely-edited conversation which ended very differently from how it started.
The insider explained to folks at Perez Hilton that the audio recording was taken from a conversation Paris was having with her “obviously wasted” gay friends:
“Paris’ friends were actually just concerned about a friend of theirs in Spain who knowingly has AIDS, but still has unprotected sex with people and doesn’t tell them!”
“This Spanish friend was also actively seeking sexual partners online for unprotected sex, that’s when the comments of these types of actions being “gross” and “disgusting” came into play… [the] comments were directed towards one reckless individual, not the community at large.”
And, in an even more shocking accusation, the source has also suggested that the taxi driver behind the viral recording heavily edited the tape to make Paris Hilton sound “ignorant”:
“[He] tampered with the tape, cut up conversation and only used small part of the conversation.”
Unsurprisingly, the source went on to suggest that Paris herself feels that this total invasion of privacy was “beyond lame.”
What do you think? Did Paris Hilton get caught out slamming the gay community and is now hastily trying to cover her tracks, or is she the victim of a cruelly edited audio recording?
