Designers and celebrities across the UK turned out last night in their sexiest attire to attend the UK Lingerie Awards 2012, where the ex-wife of Thierry Henry, Claire Merry, picked up the gong for best new designer with her brand partner Dee Murren.
The designer, who won her first claim to fame by starring in the Renault Clio adverts, proved that she doesn’t need any of Henry's va-va-voom in her life as she took the opportunity to show off her gorgeous figure in just a pair of knickers, appropriately.
Claire managed to pull off the saucy look with ease, teaming her satin and semi sheer underwear with a pair of fishnet tights and black fitted blazer. She accessorised with a black bowler hat and chic patent clutch bag.
The yummy mummy of one collected her award for the New Designer of the Year with dirtyprettythings.co.uk partner Dee Murren, who looked stunning in an all-black ensemble and top hat paired with on-trend leopard print open toe heels.

Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding also attended the bash in a pretty Oriental inspired high-neck monochrome printed frock topped off with black heels adorned with bows.
Other stars in tow included The Only Way Is Essex’s Lucy Mecklenburgh who flaunted her trim frame in a red bodycon number embellished with a black and white lace upper half which accentuated her ample assets, and Maria Fowler in a black and white form-fitting mini dress with a mesh neckline.
And lingerie best newcomers Claire and Dee had a lot to celebrate as they partied the night away with their new award in hand, Claire tweeting a snap of herself and her colleague looking thrilled with their prize.
