Boasting the words 'scandal', 'controversial' and 'provocative', the timing for new Lindsay Lohan movie 'Liz & Dick' couldn't be better.
The promo image plugs the Lifetime production, a biopic of Elizabeth Taylor's life, announcing it will be aired this November.
Lohan was arrested yesterday for an alleged hit-and-run incident, and debate has now kicked off as to whether she was drunk or not. Her friends claim she wasn't.
She has faced countless DUI charges in recent years, and just last weekend moaned on Twitter that Amanda Bynes, a fellow former child star, has so far escaped jailtime.
A man claims she clipped him with her car and did not stop. Police were waiting for her outside the Dream Hotel in Manhattan at 2:30am and she was arrested.
Though it was 'only' a misdemeanor, it could count as a violation of her probation. TMZ claims that surveillance video proves the victim is "grossly exaggerating".
Her spokesman claimed: "While some of the facts are still being gathered, it appears that this is much ado about nothing.
"We are confident this matter will be cleared up in the coming weeks and the claims being made against Lindsay will be proven untrue."
