They may have pulled of this year’s surprise weddings, but they didn’t officially become Mr. and Mrs. until five days later.
The Gossip Girl starlet, 25, and her now-husband, 35, applied for their marriage license in South Carolina’s Charleston County Probate Court on Sept. 13, according to Us Weekly.
The actress did not take his last name, hanging on to her full moniker (Blake Ellender Lively) in their marriage paperwork.
The newlyweds –who’ve been dating since last October – listed their marriage date as Friday, Sept. 14.
The couple and Green Lantern costars tied the knot in front of their friends and loved ones on Sept. 9 at Boone Hall Plantation before filing for their license.
Wedding guests included Lively’s trio of Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants costars -- Alexis Bledel, 31, America Ferrara, 28, and Amber Tamblyn, 29 – and her two sisters were her bridesmaids.
According to the magazine, the bride and groom “looked ravishing.”
On Monday, Lively was back on the set of Gossip Girl in New York City, debuting her reported $2 million dollar Lorraine Schwartz-designed bridal bling while making out with her new hubby in between takes.
"Ryan chose Lorraine Schwartz to help him find a flawless, light pink oval diamond," a spokesperson for the jeweler said. "They worked together to design a custom setting in rose gold and pave diamonds with a nod to deco."
The huge engagement bauble is also worn by Lively along with her rose gold and diamond wedding band, also by Schwartz.
