Amanda Bynes has slammed claims about her mental state telling concerned friends, to “back off” following her recent runs in with the law and despite her car being impounded yesterday and claims she has been driving on a suspended license the actress has insisted, “everything's fine”.
Last week she was caught driving on a suspended license following two hit and run charges and one DUI and caused further worry as in photos obtained by TMZ appeared to smoke an unknown substance from a pipe at the wheel.
But the 26 year-old has told friends there is no need to worry, she doesn't smoke weed in her car and that “everything's fine,” according to TMZ and claims about her mental state, "are being blown way out of proportion."
The accusations came from members of Bynes' Equinox gym who told gossip site the actress has been displaying delusional behaviour recently, often speaking to herself or “laughing hysterically for no reason” whenever she's been working out.
Sources have also branded Amanda “unstable”, with one adding that she had 'conversations with inanimate objects several times'.
A cop with years of experience on patrol tells the website: "She's on the same road as my wife and kids and I'm scared about getting a call in the middle of the night that my little one is dead."
The officer also added: "She's addicted to something and she's driving a deadly weapon and is going to kill someone. It scares the sh-t out of me."
Yesterday the 'She's The Man' star had her car impounded when Burbank's Bob Hope Airport official, in South California pulled the star over for driving on a suspended license. (Sept 16)
