Brad Pitt To Quit Making His Own Movies To Be With Kids

Star says being a dad takes up too much time and is too fun

It's fair to say that Brad Pitt is an actor who many would like to see follow in the footsteps of Ben Affleck and Clint Eastwood and become an acclaimed director.

Previously the man himself had hinted that his career might head in that direction, after all fiance Angelina Jolie made her directorial debut last year with 'In The Land Of Blood and Honey'.

Brad has stepped behind the camera, but so far only as a producer of films like 'The Departed' and 'Kick-Ass', yet the joys of fatherhood have now put his ambitions to become the next Eastwood or Affleck on hold. It seems Brad just loves his six kids too much.

According to The Sun the 'Fight Club' star said: "It’s too much effort. It’s too big a job. I’d rather be a dad. It’s more fun."

It has also been revealed that Brad is apparently becoming "domesticated", even popping down to his local dry cleaners in the Surrey town of Camberley.

And for Brad becoming a dad has apparently changed everything and put his ambitions on hold, perhaps forever as he said: “Being a father has changed everything for me as far as perspective and interests go.

He added: “I just want to take care of myself and be around them.”

Brad isn't only putting his feet up and running around after the children however, as he's currently filming a movie with director Ridley Scott, 'The Counselor'.
