Saturday night saw this year's Strictly Come Dancing celebrities get teamed up with their professional dance partners and whilst the majority of couples appeared more than happy to have been paired together, there was one person who reportedly wasn't.
According to The Sun, Anton Du Beke - who was paired up with Nancy Dell'Olio last year - reportedly revealed his fears backstage that dance partner and former wife of Mick Jagger Jerry Hall would be "high maintenance".
An insider claimed: "Anton was livid. He hoped he’d get someone like Victoria Pendleton who viewers would love. He feared Jerry would be another high-maintenance star who the public would end up not liking.”

Allegedly poking fun at the pairing when the show was being recorded last Wednesday, judge Craig Revel Horwood said: "She was hoping for someone tall, dark and handsome — and ended up with Anton.”
Revealing what her daughters said to her when she revealed that she was going to be appearing on the hit show, which drew in a reported peak of 9.8 million viewers, Jerry said:
"When I told my daughters I was doing it they said, ‘Mom, aren’t you kind of lazy?'.”
We're pretty sure Anton and Jerry are going to be fine together on the show!
A spokesperson for the show has been approached for comment.
