Most X Factor hopefuls would be fighting tooth and nail for one of the coveted spots at the Judges Houses, but according to reports today one talented contestant has disappeared following a "fantastic" audition set to be shown on tonight's show (September 16).
Homeless acoustic singer, Robbie Hance could lose out on a spot in the next round after going AWOL since his first audition. According to the Sunday Mirror producers are desperately trying to hunt him down.
The paper reports that the 26-year-old, who has been sleeping rough on the streets in London for the last six years, has suddenly disappeared, sparking concerns over his whereabouts. Robbie looks set to be the star of tonight's show, the last audition episode:
"He’s a fantastic artist and blew everyone away at auditions," a show insider told the paper.
"He doesn’t have a phone and the only point of contact was through a friend. Producers last spoke to him on Monday but they can no longer reach his friend and have no idea where he is. It’s a real worry."
Apparently Robbie only has a short time to get in touch otherwise his spot will have to go to someone else:
"If he doesn’t get in touch by the end of next week, then he’d have to kiss goodbye to any part in the show, which would be a tragedy."
Robbie blows the judges away with his emotional performance of Damien Rice’s 'Coconut Skins' at his audition which leads to a standing ovation.
According to the Mirror though, the judges were concerned with Robbie's state of mind with Tulisa telling him: "You look like someone that has been lost for a while and I think you need to realise the potential you have and how good you are."
Fingers crossed Robbie is OK and producers can track him down, he sounds like one to watch!
