Earlier this week, Dannii Minogue revealed that she would like to return to TV in the UK and it appears it could soon be a reality following the reports that the star met up for a chat with ITV bosses about a possible return to the X Factor.
According to the Mail Online, Dannii's chat with Peter Fincham, ITV's director of Television, came after Simon Cowell told him to pay her £2 million to return to the show.
An insider revealed: "Dannii was a significant element in the huge success of The X Factor. Viewers love her. Simon and Peter realise that now, but so does Dannii, so she holds all the cards."
Whilst ITV are allegedly keen to get Dannii, who found herself on her bum after getting caught up in her dress, back on the show, it is believed that the mum of one isn't so keen.

The source added: "The BBC have also expressed an interest in working with her. But she’s also met independent production companies to discuss working on her own TV projects. She wants to be back on screen in the UK."
Speaking to Daybreak's Lorraine Kelly earlier this week, Dannii revealed that the X Factor has been a "big part" of her life.
She said: "I’ve kept in contact with my X Factor contestants that I’ve mentored, and it’s really cool – it’s been a big part of my life.”
