Madsen is perhaps best known for his role in Quentin Tarantino thrillers 'Reservoir Dogs' and 'Kill Bill'. In the former he had an iconic scene during which he cut off the ear of a police officer while dancing to Steelers' Wheel's 1970s hit 'Stuck In The Middle With You'.
The star also had a role in family friendly whale based movie 'Free Willy'. At the beginning of the year he was a contestant on Celebrity Big Brother, where he clashed with fellow housemate Denise Welch.
In March, Madsen was arrested at his Malibu home after what detectives said was a drunken fight with his teenage son. However prosecutors declined to file charges because of a lack of evidence.
