Earlier this week actress Amanda Bynes was reportedly caught “driving aimlessly”on a suspended licence and now has been accused of smoking what has been allegedly reported as a marijuana pipe while she was behind the wheel on Tuesday. (Sept 11)
The 26-year-old had her licence suspended on August 25 and has also been charged with two hit and run offences after incidents earlier this year. On Sunday (Sept 9) the actress was pulled over by police for driving without headlights on and found to be driving without a licence.
According to E!Online the L.A. District Attorney confirmed at a hearing for her DUI offences yesterday that her licence has been suspended. Things could get worse for the star though as photographs obtained by US gossip site TMZ appear to show the 'She's The Man' actress smoking a pipe that the site claims is designed to look like a car cigarette lighter.
She was photographed smoking from the pipe in the carpark of restaurant Baja Fresh in the San Fernando Valley, before reportedly heading to a nearby spa for three hours. In one of the photos, the website claims, there appears to be marijuana remnants visible in a cup holder with other “nugs” that appear burnt strewn across the car, which was in a disgusting condition. The actress reportedly drove aimlessly for several hours before stopping in another carpark before smoking the pipe.
TMZ does not state whether the actress was picked up by police for this second offence of driving without a licence or any drug related charges. These further allegations allegedly took place the day before the the L.A. District Attorney asked the judge in her DUI case, Marsha Revel to address her conditions of freedom.
Judge Revel urged the actress to appear at her next hearing, Sept 21, where her conditions of freedom and bail would be addressed and according to E! Online said : "It would seem like Ms. Bynes would need to be here in court on that day."
Before confirming that the D.A was aware of "new circumstances" to discuss in court regarding her freedom and bail.
