Bing Bellamy is one content little baby.
The 33-year-old Kate Hudson is Harper’s Bazaar cover girl for the October issue, where she discusses the 15-month-old Bingham’s firsts, which she shares with Muse frontman and fiancé Matthew Bellamy.
Glee’s latest song-and-dance instructor explains how her youngest son is night and day from his older brother Ryder, 8, son with ex-hubby Chris Robinson.
"Ryder and Bing are polar opposites,” the actress tells the magazine, laughing. “In order to get a smile out of Ryder, you had to work really hard when he was a baby.”
The doting mom continued to talk marvels of her latest addition to her family. "Bing is just smiling--he's happy, he's joyous,” Hudson adds. “Ryder, I knew he was going to be an artist. But Ryder is comfortable in his own skin."
Not only are her sons personality completely opposite, but her pregnancies also shared the vast differences.
"Bing was a more difficult pregnancy than Ryder,” the mother-of-two explains. “With Bing I was really nauseous. He also moved around so much that I felt like I was in Aliens. He was just rockin' out."
To help raise her two young boys is her rocker soon-to-be husband, Bellamy, who she’s been dating for two years now.
"He was immediately very protective and, you know, watchful," Hudson says.
Bellamy – who she met at the 2010 Coachella Music Festival in Indio, Calif. – managed to cause Hudson some amusement after doing some research online.
“I Googled him right away!” the Oscar-nominated actress confesses. “And it was shocking, 'cause he was like two completely different people. I was just in awe of his ability and his talent. And then to know him on the other side of it, and how sweet and simple and loving he is. You know how people say that when you meet somebody you love, you feel at home?"
Even though the couple have been engaged since April 2011, Hudson and Bellamy are in no hurry to tie the knot any time soon.
"We'll do it eventually, but I want it to be right," says the once-divorced Hudson. "I don't want to just do it, you know what I mean?"
