Justin Bieber is fed up of being called a “teen heartthrob”. If there’s one thing that really grates on the 18-year-old and that is people who don’t recognise his talent, and Justin says that it only makes him want to prove them wrong.
Talking to Ryan Seacrest in a recent interview, the ‘Boyfriend’ star said: “I feel like I just don’t want to be another teen heartthrob. I just think that just annoys me. To think that’s what people will — will think of me — or, like, I just want to prove people wrong.”

Justin, who is currently in London to promote his new book, reckons that his latest LP Believe is a record that really shows off his abilities, and shocks people.
“My new album Believe has really showcased what I’m capable of — especially becoming an 18 year old, and becoming an adult. And hearing older people say, ‘Wow, this new album’s great. Like I didn’t know that was Justin Bieber,” he said.
Despite having millions of girls around the world vying for his attention, and a seemingly endless number of awards, there’s only one prize that Justin really has in mind – a Grammy.
He said: “That’s something that I’ve always – when I was little, like, ‘Oh my God, like what if I won a Grammy?’ That would be crazy. So that’s one of the things that I’m still striving for.”
