Move over L.A. Reid because there could be new boys in town after Simon Cowell revealed that he believes One Direction's Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson would make good judges on the X Factor.
It's fair to say the lads know a lot about the show, which is in it's ninth year, as the band auditioned (separately) before being put together in bootcamp and making it big in the UK and in the US.
Asked who out of the band which also includes Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Niall Horan, he would choose to sit on the panel, Monsters and Critics reports the media mogul, whose US version of the hit talent show, premiered it's second season last night, saying:
"It would probably be between Louis and Harry."
However, the lads might lose out to their bandmate Niall after Simon took a dig at fellow X Factor USA judge Demi Lovato.
"Demi, you would probably choose Niall," Simon joked.
Earlier this week Demi shot down reports that she was hooking up with the 1D star after they hung out together last week when the boys arrived in town for the MTV Music Video Awards.
