As the Olympics got under way, we enjoyed two weeks of sporting genius but the party wasn't over, as soon after London waved goodbye to the Olympic games, the city welcomed the Paralympic games.
With some of the world's biggest artists on the line-up to perform at the closing ceremony, Digital Spy has reported that approximately 7.5 million viewers (5.9 million on average) tuned in to watch the superstars take to the stage on Sunday night.

The concert that featured collaborations between Coldplay, Rihanna and Jay Z was reportedly based on the 'festival of flame' theme.
Despite the closing ceremony getting less viewers than the opening ceremony of the Paralympic games, Channel 4's coverage beat an array of shows that were placed in the 9pm time slot on rival channels.
