It's been quite a week for Miley Cyrus! Not only has she announced she is going to be recording a new record but the star had a scare when someone claiming to be her “husband” tried to break into her Los Angeles home with a pair of scissors and it wasn't fiance Liam Hemsworth.
Police were called to the Disney star's home after Jason Luis Rivera reportedly jumped the fence, hoping to meet the star then claiming to be married to the 19-year-old.
According to TMZ, Miley was not home at the time and the 911 call was made by an unknown person who saw the break-in occur. When asked who he was, Jason, who was allegedly carrying scissors reportedly told police: “I am friends with Miley Cyrus. I am. She’s my wife. Me and Miley have been friends for five years.”
But despite the scare, Miley is said to be determined not to move from her home, which she shares with Aussie hunk Liam and won't let “crazy people” influence the way she lives.
A source told HollywoodLife: “She doesn’t plan on moving from her home and will not allow crazy people ruin her life.
“When she is home, she has her own security team that she trusts and is confident they would protect her. She will not be affected by the two incidents that have happened recently at her house."
They added: “She is relieved that no one was injured and hurt but moving is not an option.” No doubt Miley is eager to put the ugly incident behind her and concentrate on her new record.

No Wedding Yet! Miley Cyrus and fiance Liam Hemsworth (WENN)
She told E!Online just how excited she is about getting back in the studio.
"I've got so much going with this record, this record's going to, like, kill me," the 'Can't Be Tamed' star revealed.
"We've been working really hard and the record, I'm really proud of the album. It's my favourite thing I've done, probably ever."
But according to the star it means she won't be tying the knot anytime soon and isn't in any hurry to rush down the aisle.
She said: "I'm really excited to get obviously married, but I kind of already feel married. I know we're forever and I don't really need a paper right now."
“[First] this record - the biggest record I've ever had - then I'll do wedding planning," she added to MTV at the VMAs on Thursday night. (Sept 7)
