Following the shock of Christopher Maloney’s performance on last night’s show, tonight saw a surprise that wasn’t quite so pleasant.
As 33-year-old Lorna Bliss made her way to audition dressed in nothing more than a white body stocking, green bra and green thong, she instantly captured the attention of the other auditionees. Lorna admitted even before she had auditioned, “I love being on TV”.
Opting to sing ‘Till The World Ends’ by Britney Spears, the enthusiastic blonde proceeded to crawl down the stage steps and mount X Factor judge, Louis Walsh. In shock, Louis didn’t quite know where to look or how to react. Moving on from Louis, Lorna made her way onto the lap of Tulisa and then carried on crawling along the desk towards Gary Barlow. Making a quick escape, Barlow leapt up out of his seat and ran around the whole arena in an attempt to escape the Britney impersonator. As the audition came to an end, Gary admitted that he had had “a lucky escape”.
Lorna, who made it through to the semi-final of Britain’s Got Talent last year, seemed happy with her performance and didn’t even seem bothered when Tulisa bluntly told her that she’s “in this for the fame”. Bliss went on to admit, “I’m just doing what I’ve got to do to get into the game”. Gary added that her audition was all about “the shock factor” and she has no passion for music.
Louis rounded up the comments by telling the blonde, “you just want to be on TV, you don’t care what show it is”.
Unsurprisingly, Lorna Bliss received 4 noes. As she made her way off stage and back to host Dermot O’Leary, she didn’t seem too disheartened and told him, “It could have been worse”.
