Jonah Hill and Ali Hoffman’s nine-month relationship has officially come to an end.
The Moneyball Oscar-nominated actor, 28, and Hoffman, 24 – daughter to Hollywood icon Dustin Hoffman – starting dating in January, but have now gone their separate ways, according to Us Weekly.
The break up will be particularly hard, because Hill is very close to her Oscar-winning father.
In a Page Six report earlier this year stated Hill had a close relationship to the Hoffman clan for some time before getting into a romantic relationship with Ali.
Still in high school, Dustin then discovered Hill and helped him get his first big break into films with a role in the movie in which he starred I Heart Huckabees.
The actor also reportedly went to Crossroads High School in Santa Monica with Rain Man’s children, which include his daughter.
Hill also spent time "in Hawaii over the holidays with the Hoffman clan," a source told the paper at the time.
Before dating Ali, Hill was in a relationship with Jordan Klein for a few years. They pulled the plug in October 2011.
