VIDEO: Did Rihanna Call Drake An 'A-hole' at the MTV VMAs?

She couldn't hide her despise of her former fling and collaborator when he won Best Hip-Hop Video

Rihanna appears to be on Team Chris Brown, sorry Drake.

On Wednesday night at the MTV Video Music Awards, after Rashida Jones and Andy Samberg announced Drake as the winner for Best Hip-Hop Video for HYFR, as the Canadian rapper walks past Rihanna, she turns around and appears to say to her friend “I hate these a-holes.” (Look closely at the 00:31 mark.)

You can see in the video where seconds after Drake and his posse including Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne and the rest of their group take the stage to accept their moonman, but the camera does a cutaway for a reaction from the We Found Lover singer.

And her despise for her former fling and Take Care collaborator is a bit palpable as she can't even fake a smile, or any sort of happiness for Drake's VMA victory.

Rihanna was sitting only a handful of seats away from the Thank Me Later rapper refusing to clap after he was announced the winner even turning her head, so that she wouldn’t make eye contact with Drake.

Could it be there’s bad blood since Drake and Chris Brown’s bottle-throwing nightclub brawl in New York City in June?

Possibly. Nowadays, Rihanna is still the center of love triangle, but seems to be awfully close to her ex and love of her life.

The songstress even made her way over to him while Rebel Wilson and The Wanted were on stage, kissing him on the mouth, sharing an embrace and rubbing his head as she walked away.
