Despite heart-throbs Justin Bieber and One Direction's battle during this week's MTV Video Music Awards to win that all-important 'Best Pop Video' award, it seems that the showbiz pals haven't let the competition get to them, as they've been hanging out in sunny L.A ahead of the music-filled event!
The 1D boys arrived in the US earlier this week and were quick to head to fellow superstar Justin Bieber's home to hang out...now there's a party we wouldn't mind crashing.
Earlier today (September 5) Justin's manager Scooter Braun tweeted: "so @justinbieber @niallofficial and @zaynmalik are all hanging out and @alfredoflores is the coolest. and now... teenage girls heads explode." [sic]
Soon after, the manager posted another revealing tweet: "these kids make me feel old. very very old."
The 1D boys will be performing at tomorrow's event alongside the likes of Taylor Swoft and Alicia Keys – definitely not one to be missed! Taking to Twitter earlier this week, Harry Styles was suffering from jet lag following their journey across the pond.
He said: ''So Jet slag has officially hit.. Been up for aaages.''
And nerves may also be affecting the boys' sleep, aside from the jet lag, with the band admitting that they're 'a little nervous' before the big event.
"We're really looking forward to the VMAs," Liam told MTV. "It's quite nerve-racking as well, because obviously there's been so many historical moments and stuff that have happened at the VMAs. Now we want to make a moment ourselves, but who knows?"
He added: "I think performing at the VMAs is such a huge occasion. I think it ranks up there with one of the best performances we'll do so far."
The likes of Rihanna and Drake are set to attend as both are nominated for a total of five awards including their collaborative single 'Take Care'.
Last year's big winner Katy Perry has picked up four nominations, while Beyonce, Coldplay and Jay-Z and Kanye West's 'Watch The Throne' all have three.
Who do you think will walk away with the award tomorrow? Bieber or 1D?
