Kris Humphries may be in the midst of a nasty divorce, but that doesn’t mean he still doesn’t want to find true love.
In an interview with Page Six Magazine, the NBA Brooklyn Nets star, who married Kim Kardashian for a record-low of 72 days, speaks about his perspective about finding a life partner.
"If things naturally happen, I'll just roll with it," the 27-year-old says. "So we'll see. Time will tell."
The towering basketball player spoke about breaking free of his past, which has made headlines for over a year.
"Some people just make bad decisions, and you just know it's not what's meant to be," Humphries tells the magazine. "The decisions that you make, you obviously make for a reason. Everything in life for me has just been moving forward."
Humphries romance gone wrong with Kardashian hasn’t change his perspective about settling down and starting a family – but he’s not pressuring himself with a time frame the next time around.
"I think everyone wants a family of their own one day," he says. "You're at the point in your life when all of your friends are married and stuff. For me, at least, everyone runs their own race. You can't put a timetable on it."
But in order for Humhpries to officially move on from his estranged wife, they will have to reach a legal settlement with Kardashian.
Kardashian officially filed for divorce from Humphries back in October 2011.
