Looks like Ryan Gosling is going to be playing kinky billionaire Christian Grey in the movie version of 'Fifty Shades of Grey' according to the brains behind the erotic novel, E.L James' husband.
Niall Leonard, claims that the 'Drive' stud is lined up to play the manipulative stud who lures the innocent Anastasia Steele into his world of bondage and S&M.
He told The Times the “last he heard” the 31 year-old was stepping into the role and claimed: “I'm glad I'm not him because he's actually damaged.”

While many names were in the hat, it was Vampire Diaries star Ian Somerhalder who looked like the front runner.
Speaking of the success of his wife's novels, Niall added: “Everybody has got fantasy figures and daydreams.Everybody has.
“Anybody who hasn't got any fantasy or imagination - I would pity them, really. If people are stupid enough to mix up a fantasy with reality.”
But he is quick to claim the character has nothing to do with him, claiming: “I wouldn't have liked to go through what he went through.”
Looks like Ryan is though and we have to say we are pretty pleased about it!
