Everyone's been wondering who's going to fill that vacant seat on the American Idol panel and it's now been revealed that Justin Bieber has been offered a whopping $25 million to become the show's third judge. Impressive!
According to The National Enquirer, Biebs was offered a massive $25 million to become the reality show's judge, however Beliebers don't get too excited because the teen heart-throb had to 'say no because of upcoming commitments and touring.' Booo!
"They offered him many more millions than Mariah Carey —and double what [Jennifer Lopez] made to start," an "insider" tells the mag.
"That's because executive producer Nigel Lythgoe's so hot on Bieber he approached him even before Steven Tyler announced he was quitting. Nigel was willing to make Justin the highest-paid judge ever! Why? Because he's convinced he'd bring in a younger demographic and put the show back in the No. 1 position."
And here at Entertainmentwise, we definitely agree with that one! We'd love to see Biebs on that all important judges panel. Wouldn't you?
Meanwhile, the 'Baby' superstar has apparently been practically begging to perform at next week's MTV Video Music Awards.
The 'Believe' singer may be nominated for two awards at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards, but he hasn’t been asked to perform during the ceremony.
Bieber took to Twitter: “I would perform. always ready. #vmas #votebieber,” there's currently no word back from MTV bosses yet!
The likes of Rihanna and Drake are set to attend as both are nominated for a total of five awards including their collaborative single 'Take Care'.
