50 Cent has joined the likes of Rihanna and Mariah Craey in paying tribute to manager Chris Lighty after he was found dead at his New York apartment last night (August 30) after reportedly apparently committing suicide.
Lighty was well known with within the music industry after managing the likes of Mariah Carey, P Diddy and 50 Cent.
The 44-year-old was found dead at his home in the Bronx, New York after shooting himself in the head, following an argument with his ex-wife.
The New York Daily News has reported that Lighty had been dealing with some personal issues following the divorce from his wife last year and an IRS debt of around $5 million.
Tributes have been pouring in from hip-hop artists to see what a beloved and important figure Lighty has been to so many in the industry.

50 cent issued a statement following Lighty's death, he said: "Chris has been an important part of my business and personal growth for a decade.
"He was a good friend and adviser who helped me develop as an artist and businessman. My prayers are with his family. He will be greatly missed."

P Diddy, who was managed by Lighty, admitted that he was still in shock after hearing the news.
"R.I.P. Chris Lighty. He Was A Dear Friend Of Mine And I Still Can't Believe It," he tweeted.
While Nicki Minaj wrote: ''Another tragic & inconceivable loss for the culture. #RIPChrisLighty "
Mary J. Blige added: "U never know what can send a person over the edge or make them want 2 keep living. take it easy on people."
