Sparks are reported to have flown during the London Olympic Closing Ceremony where the now couple both performed. While Mel claimed she didn't know if they were a couple, she didn't seemed surprised and admitted that they get on very well.

She said, during an interview with Magic 105.4: "I don't know, I know they get on really well, I am sure they are just friends. Claiming that she was going to question Geri about the romance.
Mel added: “I'll have to quiz her on that one...cheeky little minx!"

The couple might not have told their friends but they weren't so shy during a recent afternoon spent in Hampstead Heath park in London recently.
“Geri and Russell were being very open about everything, there was no attempt to hide the fact that they were on a date,” a source told The Mirror.
"There was lots of giggling, eye contact and touching as they sat together near a couple of trees.
“They looked like they had known each other for years – and the relationship was obviously more than just friendly.”
With speculation that the couple are serious we reckon Mel should get on the blower pronto and get all the goss!
