It appears the cat claws have been put away for now.
Brandi Glanville, better know as former Mrs. Eddie Cibrian, is lending her support to his second wife, LeAnn Rimes.
"I totally support LeAnn's decision to enter rehab -- my top priority is my children, and at the end of the day we are a family," Glanville said in a statement in an statement to Us Weekly on Thursday. "LeAnn is their stepmom, and they love her. I am wishing her all the best and I hope she will find what she is looking for while in rehab."
On Wednesday, a day after Rimes’ 30th birthday, the singer checked into an in-patient treatment facility – not rehab – to receive professional help for anxiety and stress.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reality star, 39, was beyond shocked in 2009 to discover her then-husband, Eddie Cibrian, and his Northern Lights costar, Rimes were having an affair when it became splashed across the tabloids.
Glanville and Cibrian share two sons, Mason, 9, and Jake, 5.
Since Cibrian and Rimes’ both filed for divorce once their affair became public, they walked down the aisle in 2011.
“[LeAnn] has a lot of mental anguish over how she is perceived," a source told the magazine. "[She has] this constant feeling of being punished for something. She feels like society has never forgiven her. She has this overwhelming need to be loved and respected."
