Rihanna might be a global superstar when it comes to her music but sadly the same can't be said for her TV project, Styled To Rock.
Since the show premiered earlier this month, viewers have steadily been tuning off with only 79,000 people tuning into the third episode of the show which is looking for the next big fashion designer.
The show's failure to set the TV world alight may have left a few TV bigwigs scratching their heads as the show has called in some big names from the world of celebrity and music including Kim Kardashian's beau Kanye West and Cheryl Cole.
Despite the slump in viewing figures, The Sun reports controller Stuart Murphy believing that the viewing figures for the episodes would increase when the statistics from the repeats are included and that the show has been trending.
He said: "It was trending and Rihanna is the biggest star in the world. Find me a channel controller who would turn down Rihanna in her own series.”
A source continued: “It’s pulled in respectable ratings. It airs on a tough night against big shows such as Jack Whitehall’s comedy Bad Education and it’s really difficult to launch a new show against strong competition."
