The US tabloids really do get carried away when reporting about the British royal family! Not only do they speculate that they know exactly what is going on in the bedroom of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge but they just get plain facts wrong too.
The latest tenuous tabloid report claims that the royal newlyweds are planning to get pregnant by the end of the year, their source reports: “William and Kate are putting all their effort into having a baby.
“They would love to be expecting by the end of the year.”
While this is true, Prince William himself has already publicly admitted the couple are concentrating on a baby when he was interviewed for a US TV show in the run up for the Diamond Jubilee celebrations in June, other 'facts' from the source are wildly inaccurate.
The source goes on to claim that following the London Olympics and Diamond Jubilee celebrations, Kate is now going to stay out of the public eye at their home in Wales and get baby producing.
They said: “She just wants to hide away in Wales — out of the glare and the spotlight — and get on with producing the future king or queen of England.”
Well with Kate and William heading off on a royal tour to South Asia in September, the 'source' appears to have got things wrong. The royal couple will represent the Queen as part of the ongoing celebrations for the Diamond Jubilee on their second royal tour, arriving firstly in Singapore on September 11, before heading to Malaysia, the Solomon Islands and finally Tuvalu on the 18th of the month.
In the run up to the tour Kate will also take on a visible role at the London Paralympic Games, attending cycling, athletics and swimming as well as the Opening Ceremony in the Olympic Stadium tonight. (Aug 29)
Prince William is expected to attend the opening ceremony, but work commitments means he won't be as such a visible presence in these Games as they were at the Olympics and will be back on Angelsey working as an RAF Search and Rescue pilot.
So when would they get the chance to start making babies?
Kate and Wills also live in a farmhouse in Wales, not a beach-side cottage and their child would be monarch to more than just England. Get those facts straight!
With all the claims that Kate is pregnant, we are pretty sure one will be right at some point, but don't get us excited in the meantime!
We'd love the arrival of a royal baby and teasing us just isn't fair.
